1.the story of aye

And so it begins!

Stage 2 - the big trip

This is a continuation of my interest in learning more about connection, creativity and outdoor education.

It is my hope that through the next three months I can meet some inspiring folk, visit some new places and find a little more about myself, this world, the education system and the great wild unknown that always occurs when you embark on a big trip.

So What is it?

It is part journal

Part fact finding mission

Part adventure

And part creativity

Below is my creative output for week 1 just before I left to start my big trip.

I AM

I love to write songs, sing and try new ideas. This is the start of a demo of flying high along with some images created by the AI app Lensa. Combining creativity with technology.

Things that inspired me this week

  • SKR has been a real guiding light in my life and his talks and books have a great impact on the way I look at myself and my place in the world.

On what would have been his 73rd birthday the Creative revolution of which I am a member shared a playlist of some of his inspiring work.

  • A friend introduced me to this band this week and I instantly loved them.

My learnings from experience

  • Being free to explore yourself and the world is a gift and should not be taken for granted. Like health and happiness these can be easily taken away.

  • Being true to your own creativity is challenging but ultimately rewarding

  • SKR is an absolute boss

  • Music is a global language

  • A life shared with others is a good life

Thanks for sharing some of your precious time with me
